Is the console for RPGs, RPG fans like me are screwed. Lost Odyssey and Blue Dragon were both let-downs, Fable wasn't a great game in my opinion on XBOX so Fable 2 certainly isn't on my list to get and the three Square timed/exclusive titles contain only one I care about, and it's coming to PS3 eventually: The Last Remnant.
PS3 is getting Disgaea 3 (for the hardcore RPG crowd), Valkyria Chronicles, Eternal Sonata w/exclusive content, still exclusive FF Vs XIII, Some FFVII game ...

Most likely because of my name rather than my comments. Meh, your loss.
SCE actually had rumored that Resistance 2 would be on a 50GB DL-BD. What we learned from MGS4 may indicate installs or just one big one. We'll have to wait and see. Sony exclusives as of late (Hot Shots,GT5P) have had em' so this may have it too.
Wii-Lead developed and ported to PS3/360? Yikes!
With the Wii's library the way it is, this looks to be a solid addition!
If it's true, okay. But if not, and I really believe it's not, lame article.
Honestly, when you read that list of faults, would it really be easy to get over it when we thrash entire games for faulty cameras? That's only one of the flaws they mentioned. If this averages higher than 6.9/10 there's a double standard out there that's just not fair to any title on PS3/Wii or hell even some M$ games despite the medias obsession with them.
He's PoG/Mart/Crab/...w/e else that guy goes under.
The Flamewars have
Actually, I find that Snipers who are always on the move actually pull off the opposite of common thinking and are FAR more successful, especially in CoD4. Good to hear you're not a camper ;)
This is the Unreal Engine maxed out. It looks great, but the arguement will always be with Scale. Gears offers little for scale but instead focuses on the enclosed which is what it does best. I am interested to see what ends up providing the better gameplay experience this fall and ultimately winning over critics and gamers alike: Scale (Resistance 2) or Enclosed beauty (Gears 2).
Scale is the greater technical achievement but closure provides for simplicity in focus for greate...
I am really looking forward to Motorstorm Pacific Rift.
My guaranteed buys for PS3 this year are Motorstorm, LBP and Resistance 2 (and probably Siren this Thursday). Any info, idiotically asked for or not, is good info.
Glad I paid for the full year. By the way, has the SOCOM Beta started? I haven't checked in ages!
lol @ trolling Sega Saturn. Sorry, but this article alone should be dedicated with fingers pointing and laughter ensuing for his obvious blatant flamewar starting in earlier PS3-based threads. That over-obsessed Sega/ Microsoft-to-avenge-their-deat h supporter deserves it.
I know who Nasim is and I know why you're all after his trolling butt. I'm not Nasim, if I were I'd be at the top of every Open Zone ripping 360 aimlessly. If you look at my post history, I've praised Halo Wars and talked in reasonable economic terms for the most part about the 360 vs PS3 war.
I'm not Nasim and you can track me if you want to find out for yourself. Whatever makes you sleep at night man.
So despite the fun that can be had with Lair and Haze, their technical mess was enough to THRASH the games right to hell. A 360 exclusive? *phew* are you kidding me? Now all of a sudden fun factor (or personal motivation to defend) = 8/10 atleast.
We'll see come August, but I'm crying foul ahead of time. I played that demo. There was no undeniable sense of fun had in it. That camera and clunky controls RUINED it for me. But hey, who am I but a consumer that these media type are...
It's creator refused to touch the game cause it wasn't XBOX. Don't forget it was done by a totally different team.
They'll be killing his bubbles for such a comment!
A total PC Fanboy.
